this is a five mob sorter, capable of separating endermen, spiders, zombies, creepers and skeletons.
it comes with a auto resetting system in case of mob despawn, also optional auto music disc farm.
its all fully automatic but since its just a prototype, it may fail sometimes, but extremely rarely.

endermen and spiders are filtered out by size with pistons pushing them into holes that only they themselves can fit through
skeletons/creepers are aggro'd by a crossfire of snowmen shooting at zombies and they will try to chase the snowmen, the creeper AI makes it walk straight forwards and the skeletons AI will make it walk to either side to adopt a better shooting position, they see the trapdoors as regular blocks so they will fall down. the zombie AI is special, once he locks on to a villager (even through walls) he will stop at nothing to get him, so he is immune to the snowball aggro and will walk into the pit in front of the villager.
the bonus automatic creeper farm works like this: i filter out a single skeleton and it gets transported past another crossfire between the zombie cell and a snowman, which will aggro it, then it is transported in a minecart to sit in front of the creeper cell, which it will try to shoot the snowman but kills the creepers for music discs, the storage minecart is to stop the skeleton arrows from killing the snowman.
lastly the self resetting system, as you know the zombies in the main crossfire cells can despawn when you log out or go too far, so i designed a emergency zombie sorter which will make zombies refill the cells and resume the system.

umm i can compact the redstone but the machine itself cannot get much smaller
