I have a commandblock set on repeat and always active, I was not sure if on what to put it so I figured that this would be the most logical thing to do.
With the commandblock running I had my Quest1 scoreboard on 0.
I summoned a cow and killed it, the Quest1 score went up to 1 but the Bossbar did not change, am I supposed to add a commandblock to the repeating one?
Commandblock: execute store result bossbar minecraft:quest1 value run scoreboard players get @s Quest1 [Repeat, always active]
Scoreboard: Quest1 - Value = amount of cows killed.
Bossbar, stuck at 0.
I have tried adding a different value to the bossbar but it gets imminently reset back to 0.
It's because in the repeat command block, @s mean nothing. @s mean "the entity who run the command" and here, it's the command block who run the command, and it doesn't have a scoreboard. For your scoreboard, you have to change the @s to @p (nearest player) or your minecraft name.
Hi, I am trying to make a quest system but I am stuck at making the bossbar match the value of the scoreboard.
I have a scoreboard called "Quest1" which is set to: minecraft.killed:minecraft.cow
The scoreboard works fine, whenever I kill a cow the scoreboard adds one digit.
so the idea is to have a quest to kill 10 cows.
I want to make it so that whenever you kill one of the 10 cows the bossbar value goes up by 1.
(the bossbar's max value is already set to 10)
But I can't seem to figure out how to match the bossbar value with the scoreboard.
Is there anyone that could instruct me on how to make this work?
Thanks in advance
You just have to do this :
