I want to create a datapack, but I can't find tutorial, how to make datapack choose one chunk, in certain radius (maybe 5chunks, like render distance), and fill that one chunk with certain block. Anyone knows how to do that, or knows someone's tutorials which could help me?
It's based on a trigger, so run /trigger cr_run set # to start the selection. The number decides what the radius is, so /trigger cr_run set 5 would choose a chunk in the 5 nearest chunks.
Currently the chunk will be filled with air but if you want to change that open step_3b.mcfunction
If you want to change the minimum and maximum height (ex 1.18) open load.mcfunction

I used this rng to randomize the distance.

I'm terribly sorry, but that datapack didn't work because I failed to playtest it after I copied it. This version does work though!
