trying to test something in regards to raid spawns and stuff, tried to make it so every raid member will set the block under him to diamond block and die.
instead of doing that, the command block sets the block under it (the command block itself) to diamond block.
heres the command ive been trying:
/execute as @e[type=#minecraft:raiders] run setblock ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:diamond_block replace
i just cant figure out how to make the block do the command as the raider and not the command block... any help plz?

What you currently have:
/execute as @e[type=#minecraft:raiders] run setblock ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:diamond_block replace
Why it's not working:
You are only running it AS the entity, rather than AT it. It is running as if the entity did it, but the relitive coordinates are still referencing the command block.
The fixed command:
/execute at @e[type=#minecraft:raiders] run setblock ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:diamond_block replace

Try replacing"as" with "at"?
Just testing.
