In Etho's most recent video, he shows that fishing can attach to players, then they are pulled when it reels in. What is the syntax in the player entity data that sets the fish hook on the player and what variable pulls the player when reeled in?
I am attempting to control the mechanics of catching mobs (especially players) with a fishing line and throwing them, with commands.
Update: dumped the entitydata of a fishing lure and got this:
[11:34:20] The data tag did not change: {Motion:[0:-0.0d,1:-1.2d,2:-0.0d],shake:0b,xTile:-1s,UUIDLeast:-----L,inGround:0b,Invulnerable:0b,Air:300s,OnGround:0b,Dimension:0,PortalCooldown:0,Rotation:[0:-128.70578f,1:-85.10627f],FallDistance:4.2162466f,inTile:"",UUIDMost:-----L,Pos:[0:24.44999998807907d,1:81.71999998092652d,2:-3.550000011920929d],zTile:-1s,Fire:-1s,yTile:-1s}
Some of the entries were truncated to clean things up, and the pointers are only specific to the instance running. The important part is research towards command arguments that lead to direct access to the mechanics.

Did they add this back in 1.9??
They had removed the hook attaching to players a long time ago, and it was a very sad day D:
Etho showed the mechanic in a video from 2 days ago with him and doc in the new hermitcraft reset for 1.9
Hopefully they were using the new release of 1.9
