Hi friends.
I am making a map which involves a scoreboard. I was wondering if it was at all possible to summon mobs, zombies with custom weapons, skeletons, etc, that would be loyal to your team. They could be summoned via command blocks with the /summon command. I want them to attack members of the opposite team. It has occurred to me that it might be easier with Golems because that allready can attach players. but I would prefer mobs. you would have to make them detect them in a certain radius. my server is vanilla. it would be very appreciated. this needs to be done with command blocks.
If your feeling EXTRA helpful I would like to know if you could purchase these custom/loyal mobs with XP (in levels).
thank you for your help, it is very appreciated.

Unfortunately no, you cannot set any widespread 'loyalty' to mobs.

That may be true but I've seen it on the Hypixel's Blitz Survival Games in which mobs support you. I'm not sure of the mechanics but I think it is possible at least for at least one person. Possibly teams.

Hypixels servers are heavily modded to allow these sort of affects. The closest you can get in vanilla is to force a player to manually tame a wolf (player selectors aren't parsed in dataTags, so it can't be automated for unknown players). Mobs riding the wolf would be the "mask" while the wolf attacks, but is only friendly to the player themselves; not necessarily the entire team. They are also bound to the wolf AI, and not the mob riding it.

Ok, thanks for the info. I wasn't sure of how Hypixel does there stuff.
