I made a self building/repairing house that is three stories and 13x11. I also made a building with a lever to make the floor constantly shift back and forth, which causes mobs to fall through it. The second one isn't that impressive, but if I ever get around to it, I'm hoping to combine the two and build a self building/repairing mob spawner and processor
A super farm. it's basically every single farmable thing in the game in a huge building, with redstone controling water movements and pistons pushing melons and all that.
But i started a new world now, so I have to do that all over again ):
This is my recently completed Hex display, spent quite a while figuring everything out. Made it as compact as my brain would allow. it's a 5 high by 3 wide per pixel display that can show 0-9 and A-F upon input of a 4 bit code.
Used several thousands of pistons and redstone and a simple cobblestone genorator to make a contraption that makes a giant cube of cobblestone that repairs itself so that you can mine it endlessly... I've also made an automatic house in a desert in survival. I've also done the same thing to make a fully furnished mansion, and an arena that allows you to battle ghasts safely, a mob grinder that teleported the items into my home (Ender chest) and an instant detonation land mine that can form a crater the size of a tripple village in game (I actually tested in a tripple village so I can know, Using one pressure plate and it was a villager that stepped on it). I've made a automatic security scanner that if you are not me, the front door opens to two dispenser that shoot a ton of arrows and flare chargers.

Part of my gold farm.
I have an item sorter hooked up to my baby zombie pigman filter.
So regular pigmen move through water elevators, baby pigmen move through alternate canal.
When the main item sorter hits rotting flesh, it triggers crushers on a hopper timer to kill any baby pigmen, which then collects their drops and sends them back into the main filter.
I've put together a bunch of sorting systems and various toggles and switches for mob grinders, but I suppose the coolest thing I've built is my automatic record maker. It doesn't really involve any complex redstone logic, just a bunch of pistons set up to fire at specific times which puts injured creepers into the right place so they are shot and killed by a skeleton aiming at me.
I've also built a potion-maker tower which is kinda cool - it has a button for each potion type which dispenses the ingredients to a brewing stand in the correct order to produce that potion, but the redstone for that is baaaaasic. Literally just a torch tower for each button and then some repeaters to sort out the timing on the dispensers.
It's the ONLY contraption I've actually FINISHED. I have all others in the dust, as the time I spent working on them were so overwhelming and I got bored fast. Though, I plan to change that with future contraptions.
i built a 3x3 room with switches outside. each switch changes the room to a different one...eg. it changes from a enchanter with books to a potion brewing room to an anvil to a so on and so on...

Here lately I've been watching redstone tutorials and asking myself "how can I do this differently? Can I add something useful to this build? Can I make it use less resources?" etc. For instance, MumbJumbo has a few builds that are interesting but I have come up with a redesign that adds new bells and whistles. In his I took design 3 and amped it so it's not a single chest of storage but a mass array. The chest that appears, inputs into a sorting system that uses the stacked minecart trick to bulk store. That will then input into a chest that you can call on at anytime to receive 27 stacks of the item you sorted (great for a dirt/cobble storage system). I put in a sound that plays when receiving either chest (input to the system and the call chest (both different sounds)). It can be customized to store however many chests-full of items you want. I have a few more designs around I wanna tinker with and see what I can make better.

I like this idea for storage. Push a button and the chest has only what u need in it, instead of going thru hundreds of chest. I must build something like this...Thanks.
I created an asynchronous 16 bit subtractor for my future 16 bit asynchronous computer. It's like any subtraction circuit but it uses the sklansky style, carry-lookahead devices, and because it is asynchronous, it will never derp out on you, letting you know when it's done calculating without using any delay circuits. It was so wide, it barely fit in the loaded chunks. Working on a new design that's less than half the width.
