I wanna hear from you guys if there's a better way to do this:
Practically, you dump all your smeltable items in the water and the machine will automatically sort them and smelt them, afterwards placing them in chests. Also you need to manually refuel each furnace through the chests to the upper left of them.
Is there a more compact way to do this? Because my way uses a 7x7x6 area per 3 items to smelt.
Also, is there a way for the Hoppers to spread out items so I can have multiple furnaces per item?
If you want to build it, it's pretty much a bunch of furnace units attached to this design:
