So I have no redstone knowledge what-so-ever, this weekend I decided to create something for a close friend of mine for valentine's day, a very big statue with redstone circuiting galore, everything has worked out fine so far, except for the firework's display.
Mainly all I want to do is that this lever she flicks is to teleport her to a good view of the statue, as fireworks shoot out of the back of it, i've installed the redstone and dispensers but I don't know how to make the fireworks shoot out over and over. Can I have some help?

This will turn on and off repeately. the lever you use to turn it off.
I'm sorry but both of these are much easier.
The one with the comparator is rapid pulse while the one with repeaters is longer, but you can make it as long as you want. Both levers turn it on or off.
Also make sure the single torch on the comparator is on for it to work.
I'd also like to mention that the clock must be at least 3 ticks(0.3 seconds) per rotation for the dispenser to dispense items. This can simply be achieved with a redstone repeater set to 2 ticks feeding into a block with a redstone torch (remember, it takes 1 tick for a redstone torch to turn off or on.)
That simple method adds up to 3 ticks per rotation, which is the fastest clock you can have to have a dispenser dispense repeatedly.
A clock would be needed I won't post any more because there are like five of them above my post, but I think that fireworks need to be plced into the world and can not be actavated by a dispenser. JS.

Just use a rapid pulse generator. It dispenses 4 items per second if the dispenser is constantly powered (hence the redstone torch). Flipping the lever into the "on" state will freeze the system, stopping the dispenser.

That's not true. At all. Comparator clock can go much faster.

I have discovered a truly remarkable proof of this, which this margin is too small to contain.

Noooo, you can go faster. That's as fast as you can go without the torch burning out, but comparator clocks are way faster.
Until 13w05a, you could make it go 6 times that fast just by powering it with a comparator.

There are 2 levers: the one at the bottom is for powering the 2 dispensers and the one on the top is the on/off switch.
How to build:
Make the frame
Place dispensers and redstone like this
Place levers at the back as shown then click both of them
Then place torches like this
Thank you very much for this! My trashcan now works perfectly!
