this expands 1 button press to 3 seconds. button by itself is on for .8 seconds so i have a 2 tick delay right off the bat to make it a full second. then just add additional delay as needed but don't have the delay between the blocks exceed the initial delay or you'll get blinking lights

Good Idea. Thanks.
Just modify. It not be anymore blinking lights. But this is not optimal.
It can be very easy to expand signal time.
Has a 4 tick delay before signal begin to send to output.
Except that's very inefficient. Sustains the pulse for 50% less time and uses 50% more repeaters and is 50% larger in size.
It's large bacause has a long signal send time, between 12 and 13 seconds. Each line can add 2.5 seconds duration of signal send time.
More repeaters needs not to interrupt signal.
8 ticks - good
9, 10 ticks - very good, but sometimes signal iterrupts, BUT depends strongly on server lag.
Want to reach (for example) 10 seconds.

This has a delay of about 15 seconds with no blinking torch. dimensions are 7x3x16. Under the center stone is a 15 long wire.
:edit: also has no delay on the initial output :wink.gif:
I guess i had a brainfart making this at first. this is easier and smaller. dimensions are now 7x2x16. works the same.
