I'm so excited. I've always seen these amazing and complicated redstone machines and said to myself "I can't do that" but behold, I broke down the parts and its really simple. The hardest part was building the display. I really want to get into this stuff now! :biggrin.gif: :biggrin.gif:

Congrats! You've just begun your journey into the wonderful world of redstone circuitry. What you just built is the first real thing I built. Next step is to make a setup that uses two displays and can count higher :tongue.gif:
this is not really an adder , but a decoder from binary to octal onto a 7 segment display., sorry about this, but still a decoder from binary to something that you can display and recognize more easily is really useful though KUDOS on your hard work!! (I made on that goes 0 to 15 ( or 0 to F hexadecimal) thats 4 bits, and man that took a lot of work... perhaps you could show some closer up-s on the design of this so one can see how it was made?
