Firstly I'd like to say that I'm pretty good with redstone, just not an expert. Anything explained well enough I can understand and build myself, and possibly improve upon it, but I just cannot build a reliable enough repeating clock that cycles at the right speed for a dispenser trap in SMP.
I'm an admin on my Server, and I've got a bedrock base with an entrance that players can get into, when I'm offline if they feel like mining through 16 Iron Doors, but I'm working on building a dispenser trap to kill intruders.
All I need for this to work is a clock design that works effectively in SMP, I don't care about how many arrows it may waste I just want it to fire quickly and reliably.

Hook up a 5 clock and have different imputs on different speeds, delay them so they do not go at the same pace. And you could wire it to an and gate.
