I need someone to draw me a schematic.
There are 4 inputs.
3 are levers labeled A, B, and C. The other is a button. It is D.
There are 7 outputs. Outputs 1-7. They are just wires.
Now, this resembles a multi-layered combo lock.
So:
When A, B, and C are off, then D is pressed 1 will turn on
When A is on, and B and C are off, then D is pressed, 2 will turn on
When A and B are on, and C is off, then D is pressed, 3 will turn on
When A, B, and C are on, then D is pressed, 4 will turn on
When A is off, and B and C are on, then D is pressed, 5 will turn on
When A and B are off, and C is on, then D is pressed, 6 will turn on
When A is off, B is on, and C is off, then D is pressed, 7 will turn on
Anyone want to even attempt this?
(please make a schematic in the redstone planner) [http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/16084-baezons-redstone-simulator-v22/]
I'm guessing you're essentially looking for the circuit to a 7-segment display? If not, the circuitry is extremely similar. =p

Notch could replace Minecraft.net with goatse tomorrow and never publish an update again; the only legal recourse I have is to shake my fist at the screen.
Do you require the redstone schematic, or would a logical circuit diagram be sufficient?

Give me a few and I'll screencap a diagram for ya.

Hopefully you can understand that. The wires are hard to space properly given the number of gates. For the 3- and 4-input gates, you can just put two gates one-after-another.

From the looks of it, this is just an address decoder. 3 bits lets you select 8 different locations, although you're only using 7. The fact that the ordering of the addresses seems to follow Gray-Code actually makes it even simpler and more compact to construct.
I have a question though: Do you want the locations to turn on permanantly or just stay on for the duration of the button-press?

Lol.
More like a uh....7 lights-in-a-row-indicator-thingy-when-levers-are-pressed-sorta
But yea, I see why you would think that.
