Hi. This is my first post here and I am not very well versed in redstone. I apologise if this issue has a very obvious solution or there are other forum posts with a similar question but i haven´t been able to find anything when looking up the subject.
Basically, I have made a 7 block wide, 10 block tall (12 if you count the pistons and observers) vertical flying machine door. The issue I am having is very strange. The contraption works perfectly on it´s own. However, when I try to add blocks to the honey/slime blocks for aesthetic purposes the machine siezes up and won´t work anymore. Once I remove the blocks the machines work like normal. I recorded a video where I use worldedit to paste my door design onto the Honey/Slime blocks and then try to use it. The machines don´t work but the once I remove the blocks the machine works perfectly fine. I used world edit for expidiency but it works the same way even if just palcing a single block on the door (it will only sieze that row). The strangest Part is that I have mande a practically identical design using a video tutorial, with the only difference being that it is 5x5 and it works perfectly.
The mods I am using are World Edit, Xaero´s minimap, Xaero´s World Map and Optifine, so I doubt that has anything to do with it.
Does anyone here know what could be causing this? is it just that the door is too big and the design just doesn´t work anymore? Any ideas would help.

your problem is so glaringly obvious: you're passing the piston push limit of 12 blocks.

Mumbo Jumbo has a 10 X 10 piston door.
Just testing.
Cool, thanks.
I will give it a try.
