I am making a dungeon in a survival world. To enter into a specific room, I want the players to solve a riddle that tells them what kind of block to place on a pedestal. How can I make it so when the specific kind of material is placed on it, it teleports all players in the room to another room?
I have a hard time parsing the command syntax in the Wiki, I'm ok with simple commands but not so much combining them to more complex strings and I'm too muddle headed to figure out the whole command right now but you want
And if you can't teleport all the players with a single command you can have the first command block place a redstone block next to a string of others to do as many commands as you want.
Good luck!
Hopefully somebody with a clearer head will come along and help combine them all.

Hi,
I have a hard time parsing the command syntax in the Wiki, I'm ok with simple commands but not so much combining them to more complex strings and I'm too muddle headed to figure out the whole command right now but you want
/testforblock
https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Commands/testforblock
/teleport
https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Commands/teleport
And perhaps /if , /then and/or /execute
And if you can't teleport all the players with a single command you can have the first command block place a redstone block next to a string of others to do as many commands as you want.
Good luck!

Just testing.
First you are going to run this command.
Then
to remove the block they placed. Otherwise it will keep teleporting the players infinitely.
Both these should be running off of a repeating command block.
Commands are fun
Thank you! Works perfectly
I believe in 1.16 they have the testfor command removed, I used to use it back in the day but it no longer works as far as I can tell
