JK... but please, tell me, why is it that the slime block doesn't get retracted when i build the same configuration in that ONE SPOT.
There are no mods installed, I am on 1.15.2, and I tried it with a standard solid block and it worked perfectly. I also engineered a second circuit that gave only the top pulse a secondary delayed pulse, and that worked, but I just want to know what is different about that one coordinate! I checked the chunk borders; it touches the edge when extended, but does not cross it. Please Help!
FirEmerald is right, the explanation lies within the update order. The top sticky piston tries to retract before the bottom right-facing sticky piston, so the slime block connects to the bottom upward-facing sticky piston, and the movement is blocked by the extended arm of the bottom right-facing sticky piston. (*) This behaviour is unique to slime blocks, so normal blocks work the same.
In order to get this to work with slime blocks, simply remove the bottom right-facing sticky piston. (See Picture)

Could be due to block update tick order.

Hey gnomie7864193,

If you have any further questions, just ask.
