Hi there, totally new to this forum so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong here.
Anyway, I've been trying to create a 3x3 redstone portcullis with double inputs (able to be open and closed on both sides, and open on one side and close on the other) for several months now to no avail. I've tried finding solutions online, and even experimented with several different tutorials on automatic portcullises and an XOR gate, but still nothing.
It has made me wonder if this is at all possible? If yes, how would I go about doing it?
Ps. I want to make a medieval castle kind of gate, not a piston door.
Pps. I'm extremely new to redstone, so please forgive me if I don't understand you.
Hey there thanks for your reply! Unfortunately I've tried this before, and it doesn't turn out the way I want it to (I want a 3x3 portcullis that allows even a player on a horse through, and have a lever/button on the inside and outside of the gate).
I have friends saying that it's near impossible to do, is this true?

Take a look at this.
