My name is Grapes and I need help for my server. I'm trying to make a particles show up on Mobs. These mobs have No AI, Invincible, and are named "Dank". I used the command /particle happyVillager 1 2 1 1 1 1 10 100 @e[name=Dank] . I honestly don't know If I got the syntax wrong or if it's just not working. Here are some screenshots I took. It would be much appreciated if you helped me out!
When you use the [player] syntax on the /particle command, you are really specifying what players can see the particles, not where to do the command. Instead, you can use the execute command executing a particle command:
