I'm trying to execute at a player in team Red, that's holding a block with a custom name "Cell 1" to drop Cell 1 after that player gets killed. How would I go about this?
The player will have other items in their inventory but I just want Cell 1 to be dropped at their relative coordinate upon death.
will execute the summon LightningBolt command at every entity except for 1 specific player and arrows.
It does so at a range of 12 from where it is being executed.
!<--- this things cool.
Or..... a whole bunch of complicated stuff to imagine.
You don't necessarily need to just have r=12 you could /testfor @e[type="item name"{custom name,= "cell one"}r=12] and then once the testfor command has found the item have it hooked up to a comparator and then typed the command to kill the player then /summon another "cell one"

You could just summon a new item called cell one by killing the player then typing /summon (item name) {custom name= cell one}

/kill @e[type="Item",name=!"Cell 1"]
/tp @e[type="Item",name=!"Cell 1"] ~ ~ ~
! is used to exclude something from stuff happening at it.
for example
/execute @e[type=!Arrow,name=!insertyournamehere,r=12] ~ ~ ~ summon LightningBolt
