Says the entity UUID is in the wrong format, what would the correct format be?
Was a help tread, but it works good now, so its a reference thread now i guess. Enjoy it!
So this is how it works-
do /scoreboard objectives add SinkGoldboots dummy
make a superfast command block clock
hook up a command block with this command to the command block clock- /scoreboard players set @a SinkGoldboots 1 {Inventory:[{id:"minecraft:golden_boots",Slot:100b}]}
hook up a command block with this command to the command block clock- /execute @a[score_SinkGoldboots_min=1] ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:water 0 tp @p ~ ~-0.1 ~
have a command block clock do this command -/scoreboard players set @a SinkGoldboots 0
Thank you everyone for helping me with this! It really helps!
g>Quote from fadeleafjYou have to have another block on your clock that resets the player's SinkGoldboots score back to 0.
1) Set your clock up to check the player's inventory first and set the score if boots are found2) TP player if conditions are met3) Reset player's score to 0
This should all be done on the same clock cycle and in order
Hope this helps
It Does! bvyans123 gave me 1 and 2, so now i just need three, and i suck at scoreboard stuff......
But it does help!
so, uhhh, how does one reset the score?
Dude /scoreboard players set @a SinkGoldboots 5 {Inventory:[{id:"minecraft:golden_boots"}]} will test for golden boots anywhere in the inventory. Here is the fixed command:
/scoreboard players set @a SinkGoldboots 5 {Inventory:[{id:"minecraft:golden_boots",Slot:100}]}
Put a comparator going out of the command block going into a block with a redstone torch on the front of it. Then put a command block infront of the torch with the following command:
/scoreboard set @a SinkGoldboots 0
If there is any confusion or it doesnt work, just tell me.

I want players to sink faster in water if golden boots are worn. I would hook this command up to a really fast clock.I just need to check if a player has golden boots equipped in the boots armor slot. Damage or enchantment shouldn't matter.This is the command I have currently >/execute @a{Equipment:[{},{id:golden_boots},{},{},{}]} ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:water 0 tp @p ~ ~-0.1 ~Says the entity UUID is in the wrong format, what would the correct format be?Was a help tread, but it works good now, so its a reference thread now i guess. You can't execute commands with NBT tags, you'll need a scoreboard objective.
First, you'll have to make a scoreboard objective. /scoreboard objectives add SinkGoldboots dummy
Then, hook the following commands to a fill clock.
/scoreboard players set @a SinkGoldboots 5 {Inventory:[{id:"minecraft:golden_boots"}]}
And then you can run the command you have using /execute @a[score_SinkGoldboots_min=1] ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:water 0 tp @p ~ ~-0.1 ~
Check my Twitter here for absolutely nothing.
Somewhat kinda works! Only problem is, it works even after the boots are taken off! not good.....
Is there a fix to this? I'll take a wild guess and say the scoreboard isn't removing the objective after the boots are removed.
You have to have another block on your clock that resets the player's SinkGoldboots score back to 0.
1) Set your clock up to check the player's inventory first and set the score if boots are found
2) TP player if conditions are met
3) Reset player's score to 0
This should all be done on the same clock cycle and in order
Hope this helps
Have you saved your buildings in the City Builder?
Dude /scoreboard players set @a SinkGoldboots 5 {Inventory:[{id:"minecraft:golden_boots"}]} will test for golden boots anywhere in the inventory. Here is the fixed command:

Put a comparator going out of the command block going into a block with a redstone torch on the front of it. Then put a command block infront of the torch with the following command:
/scoreboard set @a SinkGoldboots 0
If there is any confusion or it doesnt work, just tell me.
that command block doesn't make an output
and
"slot 100" doesn't seem to be the boot armor spot,it is, but id doesn't work, as the command will do nothing if I'm in waterFixed it up:
/scoreboard players set @a SinkGoldboots 1 {Inventory:[{id:"minecraft:golden_boots",Slot:100b}]}[/b]
OK! It works now! Thank you! And its multiplayer friendly! Thanks everyone!
