So, I test for the player at those cords, and if they have exactly 10 in the score roll2. It works sometimes, sometimes not, but I get a return of:
The entity UUID provided is in an invalid format
What am I doing wrong? Or is there a better way to do this?
The error occurs when no target was found, meaning either you're not within 1 block of the specified coordinates, or you don't have an exact score of 10 (or both). The command is correct otherwise, just be sure that your location is correct every time and your score isn't being changed.
Okay, thanks for looking at it. It may turn out to be a matter of timing. I'm trying the same thing with a 2-block combo, first block checks the score and passes a positive result to a comparator, which activates the second block, placing the reward block. The timing on this is tricky too.
execute @p[x=233,y=7,z=553,r=1,score_roll2=10,score_roll2_min=10] ~ ~ ~ setblock 237 9 553 minecraft:gold_block 0 replace
