It's funny how the only thing people on this thread care about is the sprint key.
I couldn't give less of a damn what key sprint is. I just use whatever. I already had to re-adjust my controls to A for mining and R for using. They have been my controls since September 2012 due to the glitch that whenever I click with the mouse it pauses the game. Even though the bug was fixed ages ago, I got so used to these controls I use them now without even thinking.

Well first it hasn't even been confirmed it's skyland or anything else, and second people have probably already posted their reasoning on that thread and whatever. From first glance at that picture I have noticed that there is NO void visible.
I would call it "Seizure" because it looks like the world generator had one when it was building that world.
In a tweet notch said it was some random old generation or something *shrugs* It seems like either really cool looking floating islands ( or rather land masses ) or random height generation of terrain. Either way it looks quite beautiful even if it may be caused by a "seizure" lol.
The oceans will be smaller, but he tweeted that they'll still be quite large and some of those in that pic are 3000 blocks long. However, I will miss having definable continents.

Curse Premium- No river splotches in swamps anymore
- The oceans are much smaller (looks like Team Magma finally won)
- No "river" lakes at all
- Many islands in the ocean
- Most of the ocean is lined with beaches
Only one bad thing: tundras are still huge.Praise be to Spode.
