Enchanting and Potions are two things that ruined the game for me. It ruins so much of PVP and the challenges of what minecraft used to be like back in 1.2 beta.
Yoo mean besides that they are constantly adding new buggy features, instead of working on old bugs?
You mean besides that they are breaking mods with every update, instead of working on the mod api?
You mean besides that redstone mechanics is basically broken since the so called "redstone update" (see https://mojang.atlas...browse/MC-11193), an essential part of the game, imho?
No, I really have to think ...
Well for one, they are making the mod api RIGHT AS I TYPE THIS. Also, no matter what they will do, more bugs will arise. So yea your right, you really have to think about this...

Oh look at what i found on the front page.
Nope, there is a new texture system now in place, in preparation for the future of the Mod API!
Nothing about progress on the actual mod api.
As far as I can see only the texture packs have been converted into resource packs to work towards the mod api. I would guess that this is far less then 10 percent of all the work that needs to be done for the mod api. In the three years since the mod api was announced, that seems not much. Maybe people who know more about the code could tell us more about the actual progress. I doubt that we see anything usable in the near future (and I would be glad if I were wrong.)
Yes as you said no actual progress on the mod api but you don't build a house without the foundation do you. Keep in mind that when it was announced it was an idea and said by a man that is known to drop things midway.
Nothing really ed me off, but it annoys me that saddles and nametags are dungeon loot only now. Really? Seriously, how would it be OP for me to have a lot of ride-able horses or be able to name a lot of pets?

My posts will always have typos and that fact will always drive me crazy.
Mojang has ticked me off several times, but anytime I was angry with any update, it all worked out for me in the end.
After the SSP/SMP merge, I was angry because I thought single player was ruined. But now, playing 1.5, I see that the game is just fine and actually more fun than ever.
I used to be opposed to multi-colored planks, but now I use them all of the time.
Only thing that annoys me about Minecraft at all anymore is the infinite population of annoying floppy slimes in superflat.

I've been a Minecraft player since Beta 1.7, still my favorite game!

Updates really mess things up. When there's new terrain generation, it's so obnoxious that I have to go out thousands of blocks for new things, same with mobs. I only recently discovered that mobs can't spawn on old blocks. Terrain and naturally spawned things I can understand how that would be difficult to change, but mobs, really? Also, not really Mojang's fault but seeds being switched up whenever terrain generation is changed. I have an abandoned mineshaft right below spawn for the "Etellex" seed, and I don't want to lose that.
I hat hw u r haf to get stuff in survivle not spawning, like why not? yu cld haf soo much fun if u spwn stuff in with hax cuz I hate playn like forrealz.

Not to be critical, but is that your actual spelling? If so, I recommend you to learn spelling.
For those who cant see past the jungle of typos. I will translate.
I hate how you have to get stuff in survival by not spawning items, Like why not? You could have so much fun if you spawn stuff with hacks cause I hate playing legit.
Also another thing is, this isnt a thread about cheating. Its about what mojang did to tick you off, and Gathering resources is pretty much the body of minecraft, not cheating items in.
They added beds that removed half of what the game was about (surviving the night/building a huge base to do more at night).
Added enchant/magic system with levels for grinding. A great deal of these are insanely OP like fortune or would be except....
Villager trading ruined game economy. With the right set up a player can forever turn sugar canes into diamonds or anything else
Void fog, it plain sucks and always has sucked. I was a bedrock level builder before it and so were a lot of people.
Multi-single player merger with only runing as a server option. There are current mods that exist that prove you don't need to be running a server to run the game.
The change to the bow from be fast and fun to a sniper rifle.
Hunger system that pretty much is the same terrible system most FPS use these days, of hide until your shield restore aka halo
Adding slime to swamps, is anoying as heck if you live in a swamp. Which just so happen to be one of the best biomes for flat land at sealevel for building...
Monster spawn rate/movement nerf due to the new ai being more complicated so giant epic mob towers no one makes anymore cuz its pointless.
They haven't added a new common nightime mob since never. Skeleton, creeper, spider, zombie. Endermen aren't common nor aggressive unless looked at. So from when I first started playing (alpha/beta) up to now, the challenge I see outside my base window is exactually the same these years later.
Dude, calm down
He just gave his opinion...
Why do you get aggro just because someone gave critic to mojang?
Because he was giving critic about them actually taking their time and making something good for once instead of releasing several crappy, buggy versions. And if he had any form of logic he would realise that EvilSeph and Grum have been working on the API in the background for a while.
The versions are actually very buggy now, and well they fixed the API that's very good, but they're really breaking mods
The magical thing about that is, mods are not currently officially supported by Mojang, so they don't actually have to take them into consideration with the new updates.
Minecraft has makes me mad on one occasion; when it crashes for no apparent reason.
Check out the server I play on, timgaming.com. (website and ip)
I also hated the new terrain generator added in 1.8.
I hated randomly spawning villages in 1.8. (and later on I was disappointed with testificates)
I hated hunger.
I hated when the changed the taking damage sound.
Useless things, the concept of our minds.
Well for one, they are making the mod api RIGHT AS I TYPE THIS. Also, no matter what they will do, more bugs will arise. So yea your right, you really have to think about this...

Something huge and really awful like..... be run by investors. *GHAAAAASP!!!*
