I haven't noticed any of the things you said, but assuming the feedback. It's a snapshot issue. I try not to use those nor look at them on YouTube, etc. So the update comes as a surprise. Since snapshots are for testing purposes I most likely assume that it is definitely an error in the pre-test release.
The single player version didn't have this issue. Going backwards isn't evolving. If this isn't solved in the final release, then it got worse instead of better.
But what traits are most beneficial to the environment your adapting in? SP as a life form evolved in an environment devoid of outside influences, and can be summed up as a creature that lives in a pocket, inside of a sealed rock, and developed the ability to survive by recycling its own feces. MP and servers by its own nature require communications and interactions with things other then itself, making it significantly different then whats optimal for SP.
Now these 2 life forms just met and started breeding. Which traits would more beneficial to further survival when the new species has to survive in both situations? Most of the SP activities can be thoroughly mimicked by MP, even if its less efficient, and can do things SP can't even dream of doing.
If I had to wager a guess, I'd the evolution is right on track to avoiding the dead end SP was heading towards.
Considering these problems have been present in multiplayer since its inception, I'm not super confident they will be resolved promptly. I suppose we can hope the SSP/SMP merge will incentivize fixing the issues
The game didn't originally have an emphasis on multiplayer, and it clearly shows in the game's basic design. Such is the curse of a sandbox game. But yes, half the reason for the merge was to simplify fixing problems (1 bug list instead of 2 different ones) and finally give MP much needed attention.
Isn't creeper exploding ealier one of the buffs they gave to monsters in this snapshot?
I like it, because creeper are challangeing now.
Creepers were always challenging, especially in multiplayer. They explode before you can even comprehend what is going on.
For me, Minecraft stopped being fun when they changed creepers, you can't play long enough without a creeper blowing up a second after you see or hear it. I'm actually quite good at Minecraft but creepers sneaking up and killing me before I can even jump back is ********.
Wait... if there are this many people complaining about how Minecraft is getting ruined, then why are they still playing...?
You sir, you deserve a medal. Im sick of hearing people complaining that things are getting ruined, yet they're still there...and complaining every step of the way. most are just out for the attention anyways it seems
Seems like a personal problem either with minecraft's compatibility with your machine or your machine/network being slow or weak. I run a server for myself and a couple of friends when we wanna play together and I dont experience any extra delay from playing single player or playing on my server.
Florida appearently. Get your bath salts ready!

Because we care about the future of this incredible game, maybe?
You are so ignorant, it's pathetic.
