To many wolves. I spawned on the top of a tree, was able to harvest my way down, this is what met me at the bottom. Can't do anything now, as they follow me arround pushing me constatly.
Why do wolves and ocelots that aren't tame follow you anyway? As soon as I see either they follow me.
As much as i would like to play 1.2.3 the blasted auto updater keeps freezing ...been trying for hours well over 100 times and still have not managed to get a 100% dl max is 70% so far...it was the same with 1.1 which i never actually got downloaded at all, is there any way to fix this problem?
In responce to how new world generations are in stark contrast to the older (pre-update) world. People are very right in being upset. The very fact that Mojang has declared their title a full release makes it inexcusable. There should at least be some kind of tag to at the ends of world generations for an update to pick up from and not have such terrible falws in the map.
Now on anouther note, World edit will get rid of the unsightly formations, and I know it won't be "pure survival" but the only difference between survival and creative is a players decision to use or not use external tools for their creations. So best you guys can do to solve your problem now is just use an editor to quikly "fix" mojangs mistake.
Also anyone else notice that double doors with pressure plates on one side, had one door change sides of the block it was on after updating? I know its so small its insignificant and not worth fixing but I just thought to put it out there.
My current bug i seem to have is some sort of weird time warp with my 1.1 saves. When i converted my 1.1 world onto 1.2 which i have been surviving on for the past 2 weeks (built alot of stuff) it has reset the map to an earlier stage before i had even built alot of the stuff i have now.
But another thing to note is that i can also load the world back in 1.1 after loading in 1.2 and it loads everything correctly.
Edit: it seems that some of my creative maps load fine, still getting the time warp with the survival map and also the game crashes when converting my megabuild map.

The lighting on my world makes random shadow spots in sand biomes.
Also I've noticed that silk touch no longer breaks and saves glass blocks.. I have the highest Silk Touch enchantment and it normally saves glass blocks... I'd very much like that back.

(dont forget bukkit bugs, mobs not spawning bug and hunger suddenly depletes bug!

You can no longer lock iron door by placing them on the right side. Before the update, iron doors on the right closed with a redstone current now they open, due to the double doors fix. Now people can put a level or button down next to any door and it will open. Not really a bug but annoying that you can't lock the doors anymore
I don't know if this has been said, but many times when a world is converted, the terrain reverts back to a previous version(not inventory though) see video below for info -
Bug:Untamed wolves,follow me,and teleport near me when i'm far or even close to them...and also an ocelot spawned right in front of my screen...
This happened when i first made a new world.
Edit:i was in creative mode.
