Launcher 23.2743 dated Friday, November 27, 2020, 3:21:43 AM
When I opened this launcher I thought that all my Optifine profiles and Forge profile had been deleted as they weren't listed.
I phreaked out!
After dithering for about an hour I noticed that there is now a new check box at the top of the Installations screen.
Versions now listes Releases, Snapshots, Historical, AND Modded.
When I checked Modded lo and behold all my OptiFine profiles and Forge profiles appeared!

If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.
With the new Update the Launcher "hides" unsupported versions
At "Installation" you have to checkmark the "modded" box to show the custom versions again
Maybe Mojang/Microsoft should have to handle this more transparent - I think in the next days there will be more users surprised by missing their mod profiles
