The ability to heal iron golems in 1.15 might be a reason for me to update my world to 1.15. Has anyone tried it? I sometimes rescue golems from being shot at by skeletons but I can‘t remember being able to recognize how much health a golem has left. I try not to get too close to them for fear of hitting one by mistake.
You have always been able to heal them with splash potions of healing (same for any other living mob), now you can also use iron ingots (each one restores 25% of health; the animated texture at the top of this page seems to indicate that they have 4 visible damage stages, probably corresponding to 25% of health per stage, so they are at 75% when first visibly damaged, 25% at the worst state).

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
