The recent snapshot added stackable honey bottles, which I believe is game-breaking. Being a food source that replenishes 6 bars of hunger (similar to cooked chicken) and having the most saturation for a food item in the game, this makes all other food sources completely pointless. I agree with the fact that it makes it much easier and convenient to craft honey blocks by stackable honey bottles but this is bad for the game. Also considering the fact that beehives can be craftable and the honey collection can be automated, this means a player can go AFK and get all the honey auto-collected. This also means golden carrots (and also gold farms) become completely useless since they are a little expensive to craft. I believe this needs to be changed immediately. I have two suggestions to fix this issue:
1) Make honey bottles a normal food source like berries. That way, they will be stackable for easier honey block crafting and won't make all other food sources completely pointless
2) Add a new type of honey related item that can be stackable and used for crafting honey blocks. This means that honey bottles are no longer stackable and be a special type of food source with the highest saturation in the game.
You are basing some of this on outdated information. In snapshot 19w36a Honey Bottles changed from 9.6 Saturation to 2.4 Saturation, making them equal in Saturation to Apples and Chorus fruit, well below any cooked meats. Honey Bottles are now far less efficient than any cooked meat food source.

Even before the change 8 weeks ago, honey was exactly equivalent to mutton, which stacks to 64. So it doesn't seem as game-breaking as all that.
But it makes crafting honey blocks easier and everyone knows that those are game breaking lol
Check me out on YouTube!
Well, yeah, but I just like the honey skin. Plus, bees accelerate the growth of other crops when they fly over them with pollen.
It is nice how it cures poison, does it cure other aliments i.e. slowness, hunger etc?
No, only poison.
Aw, thanks.
Honey cures poison? Sweet!
