When we kill the end dragon, we get the ability to travel to the other end islands, 1000 blocks away, and loot the very rare Elytra.
But we know we can kill the End Dragon multiple times now, as much as needed. But why? The XP for it is greatly reduced, other than getting dragons breath bottled up, what's the point?
What if it caused all the other end islands to re-generate as well? Allowing us to loot new dungeons that were not there the first time? And allowing us the ability to get fresh Elytra, rather than venturing further and further into the end to get new ones as the old ones break?
Nah, because then you couldn't build anything permanent there without losing the ability to collect dragons breath. If they make elytra not become too expensive to repair then the only thing non renewable would be endstone and skulkers right?
Actually does the entire end island regenerate when the dragon is reset? If so then even endstone is now renewable.
I guess it's part of Mojang's pattern to be able to respawn entities and such that are normally a one time thing. Partly because the game is very much a multiplayer game. Lets also consider this. Most of us have defeated the Dragon in our pre 1.9 worlds. We want to fight the buffed Dragon, however we already defeated one. There's an example.
So this was something that occured to me.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
On top of the dragon breath/dragon head, I think the ender dragon is generally fun to fight. Just fight it again for the kicks, ya know?

Figured it was time for a change.
