Ok, so while I was exploring the End in the 15w38b snapshot, I found one of those awesome End Towers. Near this End Tower I spotted an Ender Ship. I went and checked out this Ender Ship for some nifty loot, but ALSO found a Hopper placed where (I believe) the beacons were in previous snapshots.
In that hopper I found a book titled 'Work in Progress' written by Searge. Inside, all it said was 'We will have something else here soon...'
I found that to be a very nifty find. Anyone else find these?
Unlikely as this theory may be, but, hopefully (really, just a wish) this means that those ships could be controllable at some point.
Think about it. What better way to explore the shadowy void realm of The End than with your own personal vessel that would double as a base.
While the iron was there to power the beacon, it could be used to power a "Levitation Stone" (or some other fancy name) that sets a parameter that detects materials used specifically for the ship.
Taking functions from the beacon, the more iron blocks, the larger the ship could be.
But again, its just a theory and some wishful thinking.

Yes it was found before about a month ago. It's placeholder for a yet to be implemented feature in the End Ships.
