Personally, I'm afraid of what few hints we have of 1.9. "Far Future Update": I originally thought it meant it wasn't to be released for a long time. Now that I know that's the update's title. I worry that Minecraft will become too futuristic. Even moving Minecraft into the 19th century would be considered too modern for my liking. What do you guys think?

MC has elements from the 20th century, you know. Also, how do you know that the "Far Future Update" isn't just a nickname? (It could take even longer to come out than 1.8) We know that the Wither will be important (whether in-game or it's code, it plays some part) something that starts with a "c" will be important. Just wait.

Elbows and knees, or perhaps even just simply a new bitmap for legs when we're in a minecart or on a horse/pig (while we're clearly in a sitting position, it looks a little funny with our legs sticking straight out.)
These small updates are good and it seems interesting especially about the bedrock? In Xbox you cannot break bedrock at all and in PC you can. I found it weird when they introduced that to Xbox but it think it would be good to get that updated and fixed.

Hmm.. I sure would like to see changing seasons.. and water going over the stair or slab blocks if that's anyhow possible.. I'm just annoyed how empty it looks if build underwater
Except they addressed this, because fans always ask. 2.0 is not following 1.9. It will be 1.10, just as we had beta 1.10 following beta 1.9. Zeros do not mean the same thing in development versions as they do in normal decimals.
