Baby Mojang deserves crying, they've done a bad update, and you're really just an ignorant butthurt 1.8 fan. Get some common sense and you'll all start to see how bad this "prized" update really is. You're the "stupid stupids" (Whatever that is) and unimaginative idiots, not us. And yeah, that really is true.
(Also echonite, go to the green Tools button at the top of the screen to unsubscribe from a thread. You'll stop getting notifications from it.)
They arent subscriptions though. They are on the "My Threads" page. It shows threads ive posted in, as well as ones ive just looked at, which is annoying.

UPGRADES: We might make upgrades and updates available from time to time, but we don‘t have to. We are also not obliged to provide ongoing support or maintenance of any Game. Of course, we hope to continue to release new updates for our Game, we just can‘t guarantee that we will do so.
These forums are not the right place any ways, simply because the Mojang guys hardly ever read the threads here, if you want your voice to be heard you should go to Reddit or their Twitter feeds.

That's really stupid on their part, this is the Minecraft Forums, why don't they actually check it, instead of their reddit or Twitter pages?! Do they have "Minecraft" in their name? Didn't think so, although they have Minecraft sections, it's not the same as these forums, which is entirely (90%, at least) focused on Minecraft.

I Think what happened is we all got spoiled so much with 1.6 and 1.7 that anything not perfect and you guys cannot appreciate it, I greatly enjoyed 1.8, thats my opinion, is my opinion wrong? No, becuase its my opinion. Is you opinion wrong? No, becuase its your opinion, all of you sitting here argue about whos right and wrong, isnt solving anything!!! Mojang isnt going to scrap 8 months of work, just becuase a handful of players are unappreciative. End of Discussion.

Minecraft is not medieval-themed!!! As a matter of fact, it doesn't have a set time. And when and WHY did putting reponses in the quote, especially long ones, become a trend in the Suggestions? That's the problem - if someone says they liked the update cause armor stands and commands and whatnot, then someone else will jump in and start arguing why that's wrong. I, myself, like the update because of the new things for both mapmakers and survivalists alike. And if you start arguing with my opinion, I'll just ignore it because there's no point in doing so.

i think we should all use common sense and logic when we answer and ask a question but always stay open minded
just cause science fails to explain something does not mean its real (afterlife,big foot, ghosts etc..) does not mean its fake try to stay opened mined instead of closed
