I was wondering what your opinions are on stopping hosting ‘MineCon Live’ and go back to an actual physical event again.
But not only would this event be available for those who buy a ticket for it, no!
The event itself would be livestreamed as well!
In this way we take the best of both worlds, because people are able to actually attend the physical convention again
(like they could do back in the time) and, the people who can’t make it, would still be able to see the ‘tech talk’ about upcoming Minecraft updates and stuff! (<— Because of the live stream!)
I wish they'd do this. The whole magic of Minecon was that it's a physical event that you can attend. Now it's just another one of those streams that thousands of other developers do where they announce updates.
They are doing a physical convention again in 2020 called Minecraft Festival. It is exactly like Minecon however they just changed the name, it will be in Orlando Florida from September 25-27th. Here is a link to the website, https://www.minecraftfestival.com/
Question will be will it capture the magic Mojang and Minecraft had before it was purchased? There hasn't been any significate development that has enhanced minecraft experiences as much as it used too.
Biggest development has been Minecraft Earth. However, i don't see the lure of it.

Nothing to lose, right!? ^-^
Let me know what you think about this idea!
They 100% should do this.
They won't, it was announced that there wouldn't be a new Minecon like we are used to it from 2011-2017.
That's a shame.

Defender of the 1.14 Textures/Bedrock Edition
2011-2016*
And.... where was that announced maybe... x_X ??!?
Where did they say that?
Where did they say that again? (sorry for the double post, I'm new to the forums, so I'm still figuring out how to use the whole thing)

Plus the capes are cool too.
Yep, sadly it is a shame.

I'm not sure about that, however It'll most likely be like every other Minecon, and they will probably reveal the next big update there.
