How many believed that this Minecon was one of the most lacking experiences many of us have ever watched. It takes from the great experience that Minecon is supposed to be. I remember attending Minecon Orlando the exciting vibes of getting autographed signatures and meeting in a huge convention filled with crazy displays and booths. This year however there were parties around the world and just one main audience for the stream. Why can't they just have both and not eliminate the magic of what is Minecon. Who else can agree with me as I would love to here everyone's Input on the situation.

Compared to the last Minecons, it might have been a fail, but they succeeded in what they were trying to do (that is, hosting minecon on the internet) and it was as close to actual minecon as they could get.

Remember those versions that minecraft pranked us with? Specifically:
Minecraft 2.0
Minecraft 1.VR-Pre1
Snapshot 15w14a
Minecraft 3D
Those are still downloadable! Watch this video for 2.0:
To download the other ones you need to make a folder in the versions folder for minecraft and put the client and JSON file for the versions in there. They all need to be named the same aside from file extensions. Once you do that, you will be able to choose that version when making a new profile with the minecraft launcher.

I liked Minecon Earth because I could never have seen it otherwise, however, if they livesteamed a real life Minecon, then everybody could get the best of both worlds.

Hey guys, I wrote a Minecraft book called The Griefer Attack! Check it out!
I do not think Minecon Earth was a fail! I was able to sit through the whole 2 hour long livestream despite a few issues with my computer and stuff... Whoever you are, you're probably thinking Minecon Earth shouldn't happen in 2018 but guess what? You're wrong! Minecon Earth is scheduled September 29th, 2018.

First, there was nothing but air, then there was stone, then came grass and dirt, then came trees and other stuff... then came minecraft 1.14
I do think it was a fail in a way. The past minecon events were in a physical place and you could meet your favorite youtubers in person. Go to pannels ran by youtubers / mojang. You could ask questions and get answers on the spot. See new things like the next version of minecraft that has not been released yet "including snapshots" You could try out 3d / vr with minecraft. ETC.
To me minecon earth is just too small and it feels like that they don't want to interact with anyone anymore hints why it's only a 60 - 90 minute live stream.

It was super cringe and, in my opinion, too kid-directed.

I'd really appreciate the support if you read it and enjoyed it!
They did livestream all minecon events. They posted here on the forums every time. And in the news section of the minecraft launcher.
