I had a rather pleasant trip, I flew from Detroit to Los Angeles - that was the only real killer part of it. The long flight from Detroit to California is always so, so tedious but it's something you deal with! (flew to California twice before this, for non-Minecraft vacations.)
The reason I was there, was to enjoy myself and have some fun away from home. I needed a break from family, and the hustle/bustle of life back in Detroit so I was able to do so with MineCon 2016 and a few days spent with/at Disney/Disneyland.
Excited? Yeah, you could say that!
I was disappointed, but not that much - I've also been to MineCon 2013 in Orlando, and that was superior because they had rented out Universal's Islands of Adventure for convention attendees. That was awesome, being next to Disney was really nice though. (Though, I understand why it probably wasn't possible to rent out California's Adventure for the convention!)
As for discovery, it didn't introduce me to anything new. But I did attend panels with YouTubers and people I knew about, that were major or great parts of Minecraft's community. It's amazing what people are doing with this game, honestly.
Well, on the matter of attending this year... cannot say for sure, the location hasn't been announced - have to wait and see!
For those who went to the last minecon (which is minecon 2016) How was it ? Would you answer these questions ?
-How was the trip ?
-What is the main reason you wanted to be present ?
-Were you excited ?
-Were you disappointed or not ?
-What are the things you discovered about minecraft ?
-Are you going to the minecon 2017 ?
Thank you , and have a good day
Unbeliavable ...
