I managed to get a ticket, the only downfall is the price and that it is so close to TwitchCon. I've been fortunate to experience both. Both are local, one is cheaper, the cheaper one being TwitchCon, which has so much more to do, maybe not as kid friendly in a sense but more to do in terms of perhaps meeting and hanging out with your favorite minecraft streamer. Unfortunately I feel the price of Minecon tickets just don't hold up to what they did before. Last time they closed a park down for us, this time you barely get a seperate disneyland ticket discount, which is extremely overcrowded and overpriced as is, on top of your Minecon ticket, food, and or airfare/hotel. This is me ranting, I know they make ticket sales, just seems a bit overpriced for what they actually have to offer not mentioning the crowd. I feel there is too much drama and nonsense in the minecraft community atm and having tickets priced that high is just an insult to family and children for what they actually have to do. Unless you plan to spend your whole day trying to get into a panel then go for it, that's Minecon.
This is how I feel about Minecon right now. Even if it shows up in my home city I'm iffy on it. The community really has changed and has dented MC's image. What really stinks though is that these are the only way to get capes, not even mods are allowed to reproduce them, which is a load of crap considering few people attend these. Doesn't help that the designs of them are getting worse.

yeah I agree.... there's not even much of a chance for you to meet a youtuber there because there's already going to be a million people already waiting :/
With this money I'd rather take it and use it to attend a national tropical fish or model railroad convention. I'd say dragoncon but I'm not nerdy enough.

Figured it was time for a change.

Nice to hear others agree. Yeah it's cool to experience but is it really worth it?
