Since one of the first Minecons, there has been a pattern: US, other country, US, other country, etc. Chances are this year is going to take place in the US if the pattern continues, and next year, maybe Canada or the country that you live in will be selected. They don't put it into the US because of population.
I think mincon should be in Pennsylvania because I always wanted to go but couldn't be cause it was always so far away so am hoping that mincon 2016 could be in Pennsylvania please try to make it happen.

1. New York - 2 international airports, MANY convention centers, One of the most popular cities in the world
2. Chicago - 1 international airport, has convention centers, very popular with many attractions
3. Philidelphia- Popular, convention centers, has airports
Why these cities? Well minecon has never been in the northeast US
Also optimal for canadians that would like to come
