He could be in a standalone class file with the png file.
Don't spam if you don't know.
And no, I'm not saying he's real in the game, he could've in an earlier version for the Halloween update but that's it.
...He's not a standalone class... people have been modding MC forever, and they would have found a HB class if one ever existed.
They never found one.
Ergo, Herobrine doesn't exist.

the problem with that is that i told the server owner and he told me that there was no plugin that aloud a mod to do that and seeing as there was no admins on and all the mods were dealing with problems theres no why a mod could have done it and there would be no reason for that to even be in the server
maybe he did it and somehow disguised his presence in the server.
maybe he did it and somehow disguised his presence in the server.
ya sure the server owner whos always busy and btw lives somewhat on the other side of the planet desided to wake up on night and **** with me who once again i went through the list of plugins and commands and there was nothing like that on the list
There is no A.I in minecraft capable of doing what you're describing, NPC's cannot interpret the english language and make a logical choice or decision from it. I know many modders who have basically explored every class file in search of this 'herobrine', there was no evidence whatsoever. Stop being so narrow minded and look at the most logical possibility, you spammed text chat with 'SHOW YOURSELF', meaning someone probably decided to remove a few blocks for the fun of it, you were successfully trolled.
you've successfully proven yourself to be an idiot, i said show yourself AFTER the blocks broke maybe if you wouldve read my post a little better you would know that
sweet mother of god i dont care how many times it takes you to read and understand what im saying here, but before you post,1:read my story closely, 2: if your just going to troll gtfo i dont need your kind on my topic,3: make sence of what im typing here before you post
I was very frightened by the stories told about "Him", the mysteries, rumors, etc. They were quiet interesting, but I don't know if I should believe them or not.
I googled much, read Minecraft Wiki article about "Him", etc. What he does and so on.
Now I found this, though its shape is bigger, it's similar. (I was calmed though, because I was on my SMP server with my friend.)
He is the legend of Notch's non-existant dead brother. Notch never had a brother. The myth originated in the forums and spread from there. A player had claimed to have seen another player in a single-player world with the normal Steve skin, but with white eyes. He had posted about it, and this is how the legend originated. Here is a stick.
It's a running joke, I mean real thing, that is an undead Steve. The Herobrine is basically an all powerful being which destroys all and spares no-one.
The story behind it is very complex and well developed and goes much (in fact exactly due to the magic of copy and paste) like this:
I had recently spawned a new world in single-player Minecraft. Everything was normal at first as I began chopping down trees and crafting a workbench. I noticed something move amongst the dense fog (I have a very slow computer so I have to play with a tiny render distance). I thought it was a cow, so I pursued it, hoping to grab some hides for armor.
Added by XanCrews
It wasn't a cow though. Looking back at me was another character with the default skin, but his eyes were empty. I saw no name pop up, and I double-checked to make sure I wasn't in multiplayer mode. He didn't stay long, he looked at me and quickly ran into the fog. I purused out of curiousity, but he was gone,
I continued on with the game, not sure what to think. As I expanded to world I saw things that seemed out of place for the random map generator to make; 2x2 tunnels in the rocks, small perfect pyramids made of sand in the ocean, and groves of trees with all their leaves cut off. I would constantly think I saw the other "player" in the deep fog, but I never got a better look at him. I tried increasing my render distance to far whenever I thought I saw him, but to no avail.
I saved the map and went on the forums to see if anyone else had found the pseudo-player. There were none. I created my own topic telling of the man and asking if anyone had a similar experience. The post was deleted within five minutes. I tried again, and the topic was deleted even faster. I received a PM from username 'Herobrine' containing one word: 'Stop.' When I went to look at Herobrine's profile, the page 404'd.
I received an email from another forum user. He claimed the mods can read the forum user messages, so we were safer using email. The emailer claimed that he had seen the mystery player too, and had a small 'directory' of other users who had seen him as well. Their worlds were littered with obviously man-made features as well, and described their mystery player to have no pupils.
About a month passed until I heard from my informant again. Some of the people who had encountered the mystery man had looked into the name Herobrine and found that name to be frequently used by a swedish gamer. After some further information gathering, it was revealed to be the brother of Notch, the game's developer. I personally emailed Notch, and asked him if he had a brother. It took him a while, but he emailed me back a very short message.
I did, but he is no longer with us. - Notch
I haven't seen the mystery man since our first encounter, and I haven't noticed any changes to the world other than my own. I was able to press 'print screen' when I first saw him. Here's the only evidence of his existance.

If it makes you feel any better, you can just download the Herobrine skin and join a server, and people will start seeing him again like a m*****f*****.
in truth i put this topic up from a rumor, that if you put a topic about herobrine that the forum would read it and delete the topic. But thanks anyways :smile.gif:
Herobrine was an amazing story invented by the fans of minecraft, and destroyed by Notch in a feeble attempt at humor. On the last april fools the official avatar wore black glasses indicating he was blind. After this it was clear Notch controlled the character, and thus the stigma around him as a rogue piece of code was forever broken.
