So I was just walking around near my house trying to find some 'warm ocean' when I came across a path, I know this is a village path so I followed it but I ended up with some weird glitched village. As you can see there are no villages or villagers or any structures, just some haybales which indicate that this is meant to be a village.
I tried searching up 'villages with no houses' and someone did have the same problem however they had fountains and other certain structures, mine literally has nothing but some haybales.
Could someone explain to me what this means and how uncommon is it in a seed?
Did you ever use the /locate command to find villages? There is a report on the bug tracker of the same thing happening when you do this and the village was a zombie village; if you recreate the world and teleport to the same location without using /locate it should generate normally:
I have seen some seeds that spawn very few parts of a village one had only 2 farms and a path but i dont think i have ever seen something like this if you recreate the world to make a copy and teleport in that location and it is exactly like that you may have found a seed that spawns the village like this otherwise it could be a bug that happen just this once

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
