Was wondering if it is possible to set up a LAN single player world where you can save your save files to a router usb. Then open them up on a different computer connected to the same network (and save them to the router). I am not interested in running a server or anything like that (unless that is the only option), just would like to be able to run our single player LAN world when either my girlfriend or I are not home. It does not need to be connected to the internet, just locally connected. Any input/feedback would be appreciated, Thank you!
If you don't want to run a server I think you would need to store the latest world file on the USB manually and copy it back and forth to the various computers.
So play on computer A - when finished copy the world to the router USB.
When want to play on computer B - copy the file from the router USB to computer B minecraft world directory. Copy back to USB when finished playing.
