Lets be honest, Minecraft is an amazing game don't get me wrong here. But ever since it’s release I feel like the game is slowly getting more and more boring, i’m not sure if this is the right word for how I feel exactly but it’s basically close. I feel like the game is just not the same feeling it was in the alpha and beta stages, i’m not very happy either the newer updates and some of their more recent decisions with the game (all the new stuff like mobs and creatures they added I feel like the choices could have been a lot better). But it just doesn’t have that spark feeling anymore, starting up a new world feels like a chore now kinda just tired of it, when back when I played more during the alpha and beta.. it made me feel excited to explore and dig in more and just feel that sense of happiness I once felt playing that game, the joy of starting up a brand new world and being actually excited for what will generate. I remember always playing pocket edition lite (eventually buying the full game) and creating a huge mansion on the side of a mountain with lava pouring out of it. Old minecraft made me become more creative it felt like, a way to express feelings and to have fun with friends and just laugh and escape. Always going to my friends house to get on his xbox 360 and you guessed it play Minecraft all night. It was a challenge but not a boring one a brand new experience, now I know a lot of people are most likely not agreeing with me but it’s not like I hate it, it’s just been getting more and more repetitive. As time goes on the game just has been getting more and more old, now you might say that’s because your getting older, no. Not at all, I play other games too that still give me this feeling, but just not Minecraft anymore. I’ve started to realize that it’s not the same, never will be. (don’t kill me i love minecraft and it will always be in my heart, memories and etc. but it just doesnt.)
Your opinion is your own, so nobody should hate you for it. You have the right to it, even if you find the game boring. That said, I think you're mostly making an argument of not feeling the same enjoyment from the game that you used to get rather than the game being worse now than it was back then. It's been around ten years, so it's understandable for most people who have been playing for a large period of that time (even if on and off) that the feeling isn't there anymore. There's truth to there being added enjoyment from the novelty of something.
I've played since 1.2.5 (so not quite as early as beta), and in my opinion, while the game has had some rough updates (usually relating to the performance or technical side of things), as far as content goes, it's pretty much in the best state it's ever been. Sure, some aspects of the content are subjectively worse, like balance, combat, terrain generation, climate zones, underground/caves, etc., but taken as a whole, the modern versions are the absolute best Minecraft has ever been in my opinion, and I absolutely stick by that.
While 1.13 was a rough update for performance and technical reasons, with 1.15 and 1.16, they seem to have improved it quite a bit, and that version (1.13) started a string of versions that combined, REALLY changed the game, and for the better in my opinion. 1.15 was mostly bug fixes (and a proper bug mob, haha), but 1.13 improved oceans, 1.14 improved villages and villagers, and 1.16 improved the nether. Those three combined, and along with the side stuff in all of them, are three mostly consecutive updates alone that radically transformed the game. I kind of look at 1.13 and 1.14 like I did 1.7 and 1.8; awful updates on the technical side and at first, but content was pretty good (well, 1.7 was like 3/4 good and 1/4 bad in my opinion, whereas 1.13 was all good content-wise, so of the two "periods of big change" I'd say the current one is far better), plus 1.14 and 1.16 were ALSO major updates, whereas 1.8 was... one of the worst updates ever in my opinion, but was followed by the nice 1.9 that brought about End changes (I have no partiality to the combat either way so I know people who prefer the older combat might be surprised at me saying I disliked 1.8 and that I liked 1.9 as that is backwards to common conception of the two versions from those who liked the older combat, but the combat change aside as I don't care for it either way, I absolutely do see the updates that way; 1.8 was just too awful technical and performance-wise, and 1.9 was nice on the rest of the content).

New Minecraft terrain generation is super dull.
Hey guys I'm James, I used to be a noob but now I'm not, I finally figured out how to use TextCraft so here's a banner for one of my suggestions.
