I had downloaded the beta for the nether update before bed a few nights ago and when i got up the next morning my daughter had logged into my world before i had a chance to copy it.... I read i was supposed to make a copy before my game was loaded so whats going to happen to my world?
Even if your daughter didn't know what she was doing she should have had to click on either "make a backup" or "I know what I'm doing" in order to start the game in the snapshot so there's a 50% chance that there is a backup, in case you want to go back to 1.15.2 or the final release isn't compatible with the snapshot worlds (which seems unlikely). If there is one it should be in a subdirectory of your game directory named "backups".
It's an easy thing to miss but this is an example of why you should always use a different game directory for every version of the game and particularly for snapshots.

They play bedrock, there's no way to change versions or game directories.
