I have just made a villager trading hall. In particular the design that 'LogicalGeekBoy' came up with.
I am having problems cycling through villager trades. It is taking a long time. I then found a video once again by 'LogicalGeekBoy' explaining how having work station blocks within a certain radius (a rather large radius) of the villager will interfere with them pathfinding to a work station, subsequently meaning the more work stations around the villager even if they can't visually see them, will slow down the cycling. I don't have a lot of work stations around my villager, however when I eventially put more and more villagers into the trading hall, I'll have more work stations as a result.
Can someone who understands more about the games algorithm please explain whether this is a bug or an intentional mechanic? And is there any ways to speed up cycling? Dissapointed after spending so much time building this and it doesn't work efficiently.
