whenever I start a new world in minecraft, I have no idea what to name it. I either leave it as new world [number] or write something random. Does anyone have any ideas for the ways i should name my worlds?
I have learned that for me it is important that I recognize the world immediately from the name.
If I create a world from some random seed and don't even know if I'll like it, I give it a generic name (like "New World") followed by the Minecraft version and game mode (e.g. "1.15 Survival").
If I don't like the world I delete it right away.
If I like the world I usually rename it with a description of the spawn area, e.g. "Jungle spawn near Plains village 1.15 Survival".
After I've played with the world for a while I usually rename it again after a main feature of the world to make it more descriptive in a meaningful way e.g. "Main Base built into Cliff, 1.15 Survival" or "Medieval Style Base, 1.15 Survival"
I have stopped saving worlds that I don't actively play in, except for a "Test flat world 1.15 Creative" to test contraptions I want to build.
At the end of the day, whatever works for you is ok.
I name my worlds with the first few words that pop up in my mind! I hadn't played Minecraft in a while, so when I sat down with my tea and had to name my world I named it "ALongTime+Tea."
Tea is quite delightful, and I would honestly suggest that every world name includes "Tea" in it. That's only my opinion though.
