I'm having a little trouble using MCC Tool Chest to port my Xbox 360 Minecraft Worlds to Java Edition. My Xbox 360 is on Title Update 70 and my PC is on Java 1.14.2 if that is relevant at all. Anyway, I've tried to port a world, and many of the blocks are completely wrong. For example, in my Stampy's Lovely World replica, his theater has been turned to coal ore, dirt, and a few other blocks instead of just stone. Also, anything underground basically doesn't exist. The secret base is completely gone. Also, all of the biomes are completely off. For example, the entire rocket ship is surrounded by dark oak trees instead of just being a normal green space like how I had it on XBOX 360. Does anyone know the correct settings for converting a map on MCC Tool Chest, or a way for me to get help?
Well new question. Does anyone know of the best way to convert worlds from Minecraft XBOX 360 edition to Minecraft Java Edition without the whole world being buggy?
Just came across similar. I have a few sources I researched in that thread. I recommend going with the Xbox One to Bedrock to Java (with DragonProxy) method over others. The 'Xbox One onwards method' is more official conversion of the worlds and less sketchy compared to Third Party options (besides DragonProxy being third party but a tool many recommend for doing the Bedrock to Java conversion), but compared to Paid or other options this method is more suitable, straight forward, 4J & Mojang are ok with people updating their worlds from 360 to Xbox One then to Bedrock and the only obstacle is an Xbox One really.
Other people might have solutions but I think it's the one to go with compared to others I researched.
