We can't find her house she was looking around and now we can't find it. She has pets so weve been trying to use their names but keep comin up with syntax errors. Any help would be greatly appreciated. She worked really hard for quite some time on this really cool house.
If the house was built close to world starting position, go to coordinates 0,0 (use F3) and try looking there.
If this is Java, try loading Forge, include JourneyMap mod, and use magic wand tool to map out all explored areas. Then scroll around the 0,0 area. House should be easy to spot.
Can also open to LAN in creative mode, and then you can fly around to spot the house.
In general, have her continue playing with this mod. Among other things, it allows placement of waypoints at important places.
If not able to use mod, get into habit of using F3 and writing down coordinates. Also, beacon pillars: Take couple stacks of dirt or cobble and some glowy blocks (i.e. jack o lanterns, glowstone) create a small water puddle and build a really tall pillar next to it. Put 1 glowing block every 10 dirt, and 3-4 on top. Make pillar real tall, way above clouds. Then jump down into water. This pillar should be quite visible from a distance.
