Someone has a username I want (Cynical), and I'm not sure how to contact them to possibly get it. I looked at their stats on https://minecraft-statistic.net/en/players/ and it said they had 13 hours total playtime, which makes me think they made their account and haven't really played on it in a while. Does anyone know how I would be able to get into contact with the player, or is their another way I would be able to possibly get that username?

The person that owns that account likely doesn’t play anymore and if they did it’s unlikely that they’d just give it away for free...there will likely be some sort of payment involved
Also, that site seems to be extremely innacurate, for me it says 2.3 hours. And that's.. Just a tiny bit off. It also says my last time I played was 2018 Christmas. I wouldn't use this site for anything... Like anything.
I don't think there is much you can do. Just make a similar sounding name. I was lucky in making my Minecraft username because I made the name "Starpat" before anyone else. I didn't even join PC until like 2018 either. The only person I found with Minecraft Statistics with a similar name like mine was "starpater", something like that.

It even claims that I played on a server before when I've never played multiplayer, even for an instant:
https://minecraft-statistic.net/en/player/TheMasterCaver.html ("Play.Betacraft.Org", which sounds like a server for a Beta version, which I also have never played, only release 1.5.1-1.6.4; their web site is also in Turkish, making it even more improbable for me to play on it. I suspect somebody used my name for a cracked account, I doubt they actually hacked my account since this was back in 2016 and I never had any issues with it or emails from Mojang for suspicious activity (I did once post game output logs with a session ID, which I believe can be used to log into a server as somebody else, but not your actual account)

This doesn't matter either way since it is against the EULA to give away accounts, whether for free or for money, as this counts as distributing the game. It would be perfectly fine though if they changed their name to free it up (the name, not the account).
Yeah that site is a little out with its data. It says I've only played for 10 minutes and the last time was in 2016, yet I've been playing at least once a week for the past six years!
That stats site is also not official and does not correctly track players (it says not found for my name) it only tracks playtime on the servers that allow them to track on
I agree.. according to that site - last time I played was back in September.... which is funny because I was online yesterday

How about "Cynical1", "Cynical-1", "Cynical_1", or some derivative of that?
Just spitballing.

I was afraid those would be my only options... oh well. Thanks for the help anyways.
One last thought Cyni_cal.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
