I built a fully automatic wheat farm then I built a fully automatic potato farm next to it. They both worked fine alone and even worked great when next to each other for awhile, but now the potatoes stopped popping off from too little light and the villagers stopped farming on random levels.
Can anyone please help me figure out what's wrong and how I can fix it?
If the light levels are too low the villagers wont work. I would double check to make sure that your light levels are above 7. They also have specific times of day in which they work so they wont work all day long like in 1.13.
I just logged into your world save, and your villagers for the most part are all working. There were a few that seemed to be stuck to the inside wall (which usually means that they are detecting a village) however i saw no doors so that part confused me. All in all, they did all eventually work, but every once in a while would get stuck to the inside wall.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, the whole inside wall thing. It's really confusing. But I did end up moving the potato farm to another world so that the farms are in seperate worlds and the wheat farm started working perfectly again. I don't see why they think the other farm is a village though and it's really annoying cause I want the farms next to each other. For some reason though, the potatoes in the middle of the potato farm won't pop off for awhile but then they'll go back to working fine, then back to not popping off.
Yea man I wasn't really sure either, unless there was a door somewhere i couldnt see, but villagers are just annoying and buggy so moving is probably the best play.
no just moving them far enough away from each other so that they dont register each other as the same village, i think its like 80 blocks. Or you can always keep stacking them on top of each other, then the center of the village would be the same for every farmer

Thanks, but I'm 100% sure every block in my farm has more than a light level of 7. Also, this is a farm built in 1.13.2.

Ah yeah I see what you mean, thanks. I wonder why only like one villager thinks the other farm is a village and the rest don't.
