That one time I beat the ender dragon with a raw fish. During one of the snapshots, I think in the 1.5.2 era, there was a bug that let me catch the ender dragon in a mine cart. That made the fight pretty easy.
For as long as I can remember, my cousin and I have always played Minecraft together which created a lot of fun memories, but one of my personal favorites is when we were really young, maybe 7 or 8, we were playing on a factions server and decided to make this giant hotel made completely of dirt. We each had our own suites and there was a cafe and a rooftop garden. Somehow it never actually got griefed during our time on the server, we just ended up not playing for a while and forgot the ip. I think it was on that same server, I would put up signs and make little like destructions or building and pretend too be herobrine, and somehow he actually believed it was him, and then later went on to believe it was just like another player pranking us, I only told him recently it was actually me, and apparently he never realized it. Guess I was a good actor lol. Honestly there are so many memories of playing minecraft with my cousins and brothers its hard to pick just one favorite or most nostalgic, but those are some good ones.
I started playing in 1.12 with my grandson, who was 6 at the time. My most nostalgic memories are of watching him play his first games. I was concerned about building a tiny square shelter while he dove into building stuff that was fun and imaginative, like swimming pools, water slides and tree houses.
I learned to love Minecraft at that time and started playing by myself. I showed my grandson my first world which I was immensely proud of. Next to my animal pens he built a tall work of art out of colored wool and a woolen platform in a nearby tree. At the time I was annoyed because these things didn‘t „fit“ into the surroundings, but I came to treasure them as the most beautiful things in my world.
