Hey, running spigot on my world and the time I've spent configuring the server and building the spawn has added up to 360 days (funny enough), and I need to reset the day count if possible, anyone know how to do it? If so pls help thx
This will reset the time to 0 (/time set day will set it to 1000, which is a bit past the start of the first day), which also controls the day count (the first day, day 0, is 0-23999; 24000-47999 is day 1; and so on). The game also keeps track of the total time that has passed, which can only be changed with an NBT editor (stored as "Time") but this only affects the total playtime aspect of regional difficulty, which is a relatively minor factor.
Hey, today I tested /time set 0 on our server, and it didn't work. Command only set next day morning, but couter still continues. Something has changed by the time of?
I know this post is old but I found the right way of resetting the time of your minecraft world, if anyone else is looking for it. The /time command only works in minecraft vanilla, cause, at least for me, this is repleaced by the time command from essentials and it does not reset the tick in the world. To achieve that you have to use the minecraft vanilla command, that is /minecraft:time set 0, this will put the world to the tick 0, the starting tick, world-new.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Just use the /time command. It restarts the counter every tie you use it.
